Technical Marketing Engineer

Permanent – Full Time – Entry Level - £28-30k DOE

Overview

Future Facilities is a growing technology company. We develop simulation and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software for the data centre and electronics industries. We’re looking for a creatively-driven technical marketing engineer to bridge the gap in expertise between product and marketing. The successful applicant will use their technical know-how to help create outstanding marketing resources. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be joining a global team working across multiple products and markets.

The role is based at our office in Vauxhall, London, but the successful candidate may be expected to work from home for an initial period during the COVID-19 pandemic. Equipment and virtual training will be provided if required.

The Role’s Main Responsibilities

  • Learn and master the use of our software
  • Create technical video content through product manipulation
  • Generate imagery and animations, using existing models
  • Creating new models for the purpose of generating images for marketing
  • Content idea generation working across marketing, product and engineering teams
  • Technical copywriting

Required Skills and Experience

  • Relevant degree in engineering discipline or similar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Visually creative with an interest in writing
  • Video production and image generation abilities

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 1-year relevant (marketing / material production) work experience
  • Experience of CFD, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and/or building services
