We are an organisation based in central London who develop a cutting-edge scientific software, as well as providing services to the world's largest data centres and to the industry's leading consultancies. We are currently looking for a Software QA Engineer to expand our team in central London, with responsibility for testing of web applications and UI/UX.

This is a position with a wide scope, and the successful candidate will be expected to take part in manual testing and, where needed, automated testing. 

The role is office-based, but the successful candidate may be expected to work from home for an initial period of time. Equipment and training will be provided virtually if required.


  • At least 12 months of experience in a similar role (e.g. QA Engineer, Manual Tester)

  • Strong numeracy skills


  • Scientific-oriented degree (e.g. Maths, Physics, Engineering)

  • Basic knowledge of and enthusiasm for programming

  • Demonstrated experience in programming

  • Previous experience in an Agile development team

  • Previous experience with a highly technical/scientific software

  • Previous experience in automated testing of web applications (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber)


  • Willingness to learn, take initiative and work in a team-oriented environment

  • Interested in pursuing a career as QA Engineer/Software Developer in Test

  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels

  • High level of rigour and an eye for detail

  • Good time management skills


  • £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
