FFL to present at DataCenter Strategics Tokyo, 12th Nov 2009

Dr Matt Warner, Product Manager at Future Facilities Ltd, will be giving a presentation at this year's DCS conference at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo.

"The Virtual Facility: A Modelling Approach to Reduce Operating Costs and Increase Reliability for the Data Centre" will look at the energy efficiency challenge facing the data centre community. The presentation will ask and answer the question “Why should simulation be used to address this challenge”. A variety of issues affecting the cooling path and thus the efficiency will be considered along with the possible impact of future trends.
An overview of the application of this approach and the outcomes will be given to demonstrate its practical application and value. Finally the theoretical modelling will be linked to the real world by an exploration of ways in which live data could be fed back into the Virtual Facility model.
