Align Communications and Future Facilities Partner To Expand & Strengthen Next Generation Data Center Design Practice

NEW YORK/LONDON – September 14, 2006 – Align Communications, Inc., a global information technology (IT) solutions company, and Future Facilities, a leading computational fluid dynamic (CFD) software developer today announced a partnership to jointly develop and market next generation data center solutions.

The partnership will leverage Align’s 20 years of experience designing & deploying advanced data centers for world-class organizations, with Future Facilities real-time, real-equipment modeling software. This combination of proven design process with next generation tools will allow companies to make more informed decisions on design and future growth strategies in their data center environments.

These 3-D, real-time renderings characterize the thermal/environmental behavior of the facility – down to the granular level of individual pieces of equipment. This allows for exceptional flexibility in planning & optimizing the equipment layout, load distribution and cooling cycles.

In North America and the UK, Align’s Data Center Design Practice focuses on new data center designs, server migration & relocations and “survival” strategies for existing data centers. In the US, Align will also serve as a sales and consulting arm for Future Facilities.
