Future Facilities Showcases 6SigmaET

San Jose, 17th March 2009: Today, a new generation CFD based simulation tool for the design and packaging of modern day electronics will be showcased at Semi-Therm 25. 6SigmaET, the latest addition to Future Facilities' already successful 6SigmaDC suite, addresses, for the company, the final jigsaw piece in the thermal lifecycle of a modern data centre.

Just as designers and facility managers can assess the thermal characteristics of their data centre in the 6SigmaDC suite at present, hardware manufacturers will now be able to do the same for their equipment. This in turn will provide the foundation for high quality libraries to feed back into the 6SigmaRoom, 6SigmaRack, and 6SigmaManager calculations.
